We’ve just had it confirmed that the ‘Why Do You Care?’ exhibition will be extended for an extra two months at the Manor Hospital, Walsall, on account of the amazing feedback the work has been getting from visitors and staff. The photography and writing will now be displayed until the end of February 2014, a 5-month tenure in all.
Here’s a photograph from the exhibition installation, as well as one of some of the carers enjoying their opening night last month. We would like to thank the carers, their friends and families and the number of other visitors for coming along and supporting the project.
The opening night also doubled up as a launch night for the ‘Why Do You Care?’ anthology of creative writing and photography. We’ll soon be telling you how you can purchase a copy of this lovely collection of stories, poems, images and answers from the carers as to why they do care.
